Processing of personal data

In order to perform my work as a virtual assistant, I am responsible for processing personal data of clients. In this privacy statement, I describe the measures I take to safeguard the privacy of those involved as much as possible. I do this according to the guidelines of the AVG law.

What personal data do I process?

I normally process the following personal data from customers with whom I conclude a service:

• First and last name
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Address details
• Phone number
• Email address

For what reason do I process personal data?

The ultimate goal is of course to provide the customer with the best possible services. In addition, there are several specific reasons for processing personal data:

• Drafting of agreement, description and plan
• Correct invoicing for declaration of invoices
• Documentation in the customer file
• All these objectives have a legal basis.

How long do I keep personal data?

I never store personal data of customers longer than necessary, unless this is required by law. Administrative documents such as invoices have a legal retention period of 7 years. For other documents I use a retention period of up to 3 years.

After these periods I will review whether it is necessary to keep the data longer. When this is no longer necessary, I will destroy the documents.

Storing and sharing personal data

Personal data of customers will never be shared with third parties without explicit permission. An exception to this is if I have to comply with a legal obligation. The customer will always be informed about this.

The customer's rights

The customer has the right at all times to view, correct or delete the data that I have of the customer. The right to delete can be rejected by a legal obligation to retain the data. I will always substantiate this well.

In addition, the customer always has the right to data portability. This means that I can send the personal data to another person or organization at the request of the customer.

If the customer wishes to exercise one of these rights, this can be discussed with me verbally or in writing.

By participating in Techy Stuff's offering, customers consent to the storage of their data as described above.
